Knit Together

21 weeks
Click on pics for bigger view. The first one shows it's a girl. Then we have a leg and profiles. The middle one in the second set is a 4D. It's hard to see though. It's a profile of her face.
"For it was You who created my inward parts;
You knit me together in my mother's womb.

I will praise You for I have been remarkably and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful,
And I know this very well.

30 weeks
Make sure you click on them to see a big view. The top one is so neat. It's her face - lips and nose with her hand covering her eyes. Beautiful lips. Then we have a leg/foot in the middle and on the bottom here is a great 4D pic. Her knee is up to her nose and she has Audrey's nose (which is Troy's too.)

My bones were not hidden from You
when I was made in secret,
when I was formed in the depths of the earth.
The bottom pic here shows again that it's a girl. No doubts there. The middle is probably nothing you are interested in. And the top one here is a great profile with her fingers there on her tummy. Cutie.

Your eyes saw me when I was formless;
all my days were written in Your book
and planned before a single one of them began."
Psalm 139:13-16

She's perfect!

Comal County Fair

This weekend was the Comal County Fair. Such fun to go to smaller town festivities such as this (although we would have loved to have been at the Texas State Fair this weekend!)

On Friday Audrey and Mama joined our friend Mrs. Stephanie and her family at the parade. It was a great 2 hr. parade and Audrey stared at everything in awe. Very fun.

Then today our family went to the fair. We got there early and watched the steer being judged and then went to the petting zoo. Audrey loved watching the steer from afar. She mooed at them. But at the petting zoo, as you will see, she was a little timid. I know she loved seeing all of the animals that she talks about all of the time, but to actually get up close and touch them was another story. :)

We walked around alot and it was pretty hot. Finally we enjoyed some lunch together and then headed home.

Audrey had a great time and was worn out. Just think, next year we will be toting around 2 little ones at the fair (and mommy won't be pregnant!) wow.

My Little School Girl

I have recently started attending Community Bible Study at a church in the area. I'm really excited about the study (we're doing Revelation.) I'm eating up my time of personal study. It's pretty perfect for me, just straight scripture study. I love it.
If you've heard of Community Bible Study (it's a worldwide thing), then you might have heard that the children's program is worth going in and of itself. I'm really excited about Audrey going, being around other kids and once she's in the 2 yr. old class she will start really good Bible teaching.
Anyway, this is Audrey today getting ready to go to church. Doesn't she just look like a little school girl? My little cutie...

And she does so so well in the nursery. Just stays so easily and when I pick her up she is just as happy as can be. I love that she is so happy and well-adjusted. What a joy!

Sling Thoughts?

So I think I would like a good sling for new baby girl. We do have a Bjourn that I'm sure we'll use. But I'd like something a little more cuddly. I had a regular sling with Audrey and neither of us liked it.
Any recommendations?
Bec, do you really like the Moby?

Audrey's Big Girl Room is Ready and Oh so Cute!

Audrey's big girl room is ready and we LOVE it! Mom and Dad came to town this weekend and mom and I worked on it all day Friday. It is perfect for Audrey. She already goes in there all the time to play. Much more fun than the nursery. She's just about ready to hand that nursery over to her sissy. Mom made the curtains out of a shower curtain we found. Loved the material. It fit perfectly. And at the last minute we found the material for the tie backs and the big buttons. They pulled it all together so well.
We painted the rocker and put a butterfly and flower on it that you can't really see. You will see below that Audrey loves the rocker.

The shelf was also a last minute idea to add some more of the bright red and to display some of our favorite books.

The bedframe isn't actually put together yet. We realized when we started to put it together that the mattress/box springs is too long. We also have a dust ruffle that we haven't put on yet. Love the bedding though. And the little table was lovingly given by Grandpa who now has nowhere to put his coffee.

Gran put these pictures together and they are precious. They are nursery rhymes on canvas, kind of antiqued. LOVE them! Closer picture at the end of the post.

We think we've decided not to do the decal here that you all voted on. sorry about that. :) decided it was too much and ($) too much. :)

The toy box was a gift from Nana last Christmas and we painted it and added flowers and butterflies.

Gran surprised us with the cute picture above the bed. So cute!

And here are a few of Audrey enjoying her rocker and her books.

Audrey and her Daddy having some music time together.
And Nettie too, of course.

And lastly a close-up of the pictures...
The middle girl here in this picture's name is Audrey. Little cutie.

And there you have it, a big girl room for a big girl. :)

Thanks for all of your help Gran. We love it!

Now we just have to hope that Audrey will sleep in the big girl bed when the time comes. We'll see.

Two Peas in a Pod

I sure love these two.

Weekend with Gran, Grandpa and Cole

This weekend Gran, Grandpa and Cole (Bapa and Dole) came to visit and to celebrate Troy's birthday. We had a great time. It rained most of the weekend, which was wonderful!!

Books books books

Audrey and Gran making a birthday card for Daddy.

Troy and Pregos at Troy's birthday dinner. We went to The Gristmill in Gruene, TX. Neat place. Mom and Dad have a way of making us feel really special for our birthdays.

Audrey wasn't feeling well at dinner. Poor baby. She had a cold and wasn't quite herself this weekend.

Buddies

I don't think there ever was such a Grandpa's girl.

Cole read to Audrey and she was captivated

for awhile...

Thanks for coming Gran, Grandpa and Cole. We love you!

It's was a 911 morning...literally

Locked my baby in the car while out shopping today.
Called 911.
A firetruck came with a full crew.
They rescued my baby.
She sat in the car and smiled and waved at them as they worked to get her out.

I'd like to blame this on pregnancy brain, but I'm not sure I can.

Lesson learned.
