Camping Mem. Day 2012

Our family just returned from a 4 day camping trip in Oklahoma.

It was a great time and we so enjoyed Nana coming with us.

These girls are some great campers.

Here's some highlights...

We did lots of swimming. At first Alaina was the brave one. She would just float around, treading water with her water wings on. Audrey took a bit to warm up to it, but then had a blast. It was definitely her favorite thing we did.

We so enjoyed camping in Mom and Dad's RV.

Nana even decked us out with some red, white and blues.

The weather was so beautiful and our spot was so nicely shaded that we spent most every moment outside. The girls did love playing in the RV though.

Nana and Daddy taught the girls some "go fish."

Audrey caught some lady bugs and butterflies...

And did some shows...

We did lots of playing with our princesses on the blanket. And Audrey made a sweet friend, Addison (whom you see with her mom on the horse in the video.) Addison came over and played dolls with Audrey. They had so much fun.

And of course we ate yummy food...including watermelon.

Such a great time. The girls are already asking when we can go again.

Awanas Award Ceremony

Last week Audrey had her end of the year Awanas Awards Ceremony.

Her Cubbies class sang 2 songs and received awards.

Audrey was awarded for her attendance, scripture memory, and 1st place in the Grand Prix.

This was Audrey's first "performance" with a class. We thought she might get shy since she kept telling us that she didn't want to go, but she stepped up there and had a great time...even acted a little silly.

Good girl Audrey. We are proud of you!
