Welcome to our world baby Alaina!

We are so proud of you and so many people love you already.

Here is a look at your first week...You were born at 8:04 am at Cristus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels, TX.
You were delivered by Dr. Kevin Blair.
You weighed 8 lbs and 9 oz. and were 21 and 1/2 inches long.
You have dark hair and are absolutely beautiful!!!

Here are some people who came to visit you...
Uncle Eddie, Aunt Sarah, Cate, Caroline and Cole surprised us and came into town.

Nana and Papa were here.

Your cousins loved meeting you for the first time.

Aunt Sarah loves her

new little neice. Caroline loved on you too.

And then you met your big sister Audrey. She thought you were so special.

Audrey has been waiting to meet her little sissy.

You spent some special time with Mommy and Daddy in the hospital.

And your Giah and Bapa visited you every day.

At home you and Bapa got pretty close. Giah and Bapa took care of you for a few days while Mommy and Daddy were in the hospital without you.

They sure took good care of you and your sissy. You are so beautiful baby girl.

Your sissy asked if she could hold you. She did such a good job.

She said "more baby"

And we know that you two are going to be the best of friends.

We love you baby Alaina and we are so happy you are finally here.

An Early Christmas Present

Audrey got her first Christmas present this weekend. She loves to be outside and we have been looking and looking on Craigslist for a big playset for the backyard. Finally we found a great one and Daddy put it up last night. Audrey was SO excited!
She has a bit to learn so she can crawl up in it all by herself, but she is great on the slide. It will be no time before she's motoring all over this thing by herself while Mommy and baby sister sit in the rocking chair on the porch and cheer her on.

2 Pregnancy Revelations...

1. I think the last month is worse than the first month.
2. Once again I see that pregnancy brain is a very real thing. Today (after coming home from church and crashing in bed) I woke up and looked at my bottle of lotion sitting next to the bed only to realize that the lotion I put on several times every day is not, in fact, lotion - but hair conditioner. Hmmm.
