Happy 5th Birthday Audrey Rose!!!

Do you believe that our Audrey Rose has turned 5?! Well it's so true! Look at this big girl's birthday celebrations...

First she woke up to her birthday candle burning bright with 5...

Then she got to open some presents from her Nana...

It was Bible study day for us...and her teachers made her a neat card and sang to her.  

After Bible study she got to choose our lunch spot.  Or course she chose MacDonalds.  She and sissy had a great time eating their happy meals in the train and playing together.

On Thursday after her birthday we went to visit Gia and Bapa and got to see Cate and Caroline in their musical - Seussical!

Cate and Caroline were fabulous in the play by the way.  We LOVED it!  Great job girls!

After the play we went out to lunch with Gia, Bapa and Aunt Sarah and Cate to celebrate Audrey's birthday...

Audrey got such neat gifts from her Aunt Sarah and Gia and Bapa...and a little something from Mommy and Daddy too.  how fun!

And guess who else got some little treats?  : )

Our birthday theme as you will see at her party is Barbie.  So Audrey got a new Barbie movie and the Barbie and Prince that go with the movie.

And then came Saturday...Barbie Party Day!!!

Spring Camping 2013

We just returned from a great weekend of camping with friends from our Community Group.

What a beautiful Spring weekend it was for camping.

We filled every minute with playing in the park, running around and chasing, hiking, fishing (Troy caught a great fish!), great food...and an Easter egg hun.  Here are all the little ones getting ready to hunt...

Oh, and one last fun activity of the weekend...we took Audrey and Alaina's ladybug tent.  They played alot of Barbies in there with their girlfriends.  And Alaina just liked to play in there by herself too.  This tent was put to great use Aunt Sarah.  :)

Next time we just might have to camp in...say...San Antonio

King Cake 2013

Alaina was very happy to help with making our King Cake this year.

She was quite the great sprinkler...

Pretty colorful eh?

It was pretty tasty too.  We shared it with our Home Group.

And of course Daddy got the baby....which means that he (we) get to make the King Cake again next year!  

I don't think Alaina will mind, do you?

Fort Worth Stock Show 2013

Today we went to the Fort Worth Stock Show with Mrs. Renee and Caleb.

We all had a great time looking at the animals!  They might've even enjoyed looking at us...

We got to see some cows milked and we learned all about that neat process ...

We watched a "thank a farmer" magic show and

learned all about farming.



 

Look at these cuties...we wanted to bring one home.  But Audrey said we can't because we have Nettie.

These were some little duckies going down a slide.  that was really fun.
