May is moving by so quickly and we have alot going on! If you have not heard the news yet, we are moving. The Douglas fam. is relocating to Austin, TX. I know, big news. It's been a tough decision. One that we have thought about for a very long time and have felt, up until now, that we needed to stay. However, Troy is graduating in a little over a week (yea!) and he got a great job in Austin that we are really excited about. We are so sad to leave our family here in Boston, of course. And New England has really become home. But we are very excited to be closer to family, for Troy to start a job that will really challenge him (and he will be great at), for Audrey to grow up with her gradparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, and we can't wait to see what God has in store for us ministry wise in Austin. There is definitely need there.
So we have 2 more weeks here in Boston. We are really busy packing, preparing for family to visit for graduation, and visiting with our dear friends here.
We wanted to post some great pictures of some wonderful things we have done so far this month.
Our close friends Becca and Travis Lucas and their baby Evan visited us Mother's Day weekend. It was so neat to introduce them to Audrey. Evan is her boyfriend.
I had a great first Mother's Day. Troy and Audrey were very sweet to me, as always. We have one family pic. of that day.
We went to one of our favorite places - Ogunquit, Maine for a couple of days. Our friends Katie and Bryan Thomason joined us - and baby Eden.
And we went this past weekend to a barbeque with our friends from Collegiate Church Planting. There is a picture of those of us with kids in the group. The 3 couples on the right were all married right around the same time and now we all have kids. The baby on the end, Maddie Josti, was born a month before Audrey. She's precious.
Oh, and there are pics of Audrey worn out from all that we're doing. Sleepy girl.
Anyway, this is our month so far. Enjoy the pics. I'm sure we will have alot more to report in the next few weeks...

i am really excited for you guys. i know boston will miss you but austin is in store for a blessing. You made a difference for the kingdom there. There are more and better disciples because of you.
I am proud to know you both and am confident that He will do great things in and through you in Austin.
You are loved by us...
Doug
What exciting news! That was fast! I'm sure you will miss Boston, but it will be so nice to be close to your families and I've heard Austin is a neat place to live.
I wanted to send something for Audrey, but I will wait until you move.
Love,
Kel
