Super Cuteness...

Audrey got her hair cut today. It's super cute!

It makes her look like such a big girl.

And Alaina is just cute. That's all I can say. She's just cute.

Happy Birthday Aunt Jess and Happy Valentine's!

This weekend we got to celebrate Aunt Jess' birthday AND Valentine's with Nana, Cameron and Aunt Jess. It turned out to be beautiful weather on Saturday so we headed out to the fairgrounds at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. What a fun day...

There where many fun things for Audrey to look at and she had a great view from Aunt Jess' shoulders. She LOVES her Aunt Jess!

Alaina just loves to be cuddled all day long.

And Audrey absolutely can't get enough of her cousin Cameron!

Valentine's treats were found at the breakfast table today complete with a Cookie Monster, Elmo, Big Bird, and Valentine puppy stickers. Wow!

Where's Audrey?

Audrey found a new game today. (Luckily she isn't into hiding from us yet. If that were the case, she would have found a great place!) We did play "where's Audrey?" numerous times. Over and over actually.

She would crawl in and say "shut Mommy." I would shut the doors and then say "where's Audrey?" and she would pop out and say "there she is!"

She loved it! She even popped out when Daddy came home.

She really wanted Nettie in there with her. But Nettie would have none of that.
What a girl.

Happy Engagement Anniversary and Valentine's!

Audrey and Alaina,
It was five years ago this Valentine's that Daddy proposed to Mommy, February 14, 2005.
It was a very special night for Mommy and Daddy.
Daddy surprised Mommy and took me to a wonderful Italian restaurant in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. We followed dinner with dessert at a very romantic cafe. After dinner, we returned to Mommy's apartment in Cambridge. On the way up to my apartment Daddy sent me back to the car where he had left something. He was very sneaky. When I got back to the apartment he had some beautiful flowers. He read me a letter and then proposed to me. It was perfect. And the ring that he gave me that night was a surprise too. It was my Mom's and was very special to me. I had always wanted her ring, but never knew that Daddy was conspiring with my family so that he could give me this ring. It was very special.

You Won't Believe How Big These Girls Are...

Alaina is 2 and a half months. She LOVES to smile at us. She smiles with her eyes. Boys watch out! This one might just be a flirt!

And then there's Audrey. She'll be 2 in a little over a month. We can't believe it, but we can believe it because she acts so big. She's even speaking in some complete sentences now. We have a real talker on our hands. She LOVES to explore new things and wrestle with her Daddy, and she's making some great little girlfriends at church.

Audrey took over Daddy's ice cream cone in the car one day.

And Alaina watched with her big beautiful eyes.

We visited the park again.

Audrey and Daddy fed the ducks.

While Mommy and Alaina watched.

Going up this little hill went a lot better than coming down.
Daddy was walking down in front of Audrey. Mommy looked down and Audrey was running out of control down the hill headed for either the big tree or the water. There was no way she could stop without running into something or face planting. It scared Mommy to death, but Daddy grabbed her just in time. whew.

We went for a train ride around the park. Audrey loves choo choo trains.

And Audrey always tells us the sun is in her eyes, so she was trying on Mommy's glasses on the way home.
