Girlfriends photo shoot

This past weekend we were in Boston for a quick trip of 2 weddings. We stayed with our good friends Bryan, Katie and Eden Thomason. Audrey and Eden have been friends since Katie and I were pregnant together. And they sure are cute little friends. Brea and Nathan's wedding extravaganza (and I do mean extravaganza!) was on Monday - Memorial Day. The reception was at the historic Longfellow's Wayside Inn. Audrey and Eden had a photo shoot out on the lawn. Cuties...

Then Audrey had her own little photo shoot...

Sweet girl!
We had such a great weekend, although way too quick. It was so great to catch up with dear friends - wish we could have seen many more. Hopefully soon! We love you guys!

That's My Girl

Audrey loves to go out on the patio with me to water the plants. As soon as I open the door she heads for it, steps outside and starts exploring. Recently I have realized that she has been paying pretty close attention to what I am doing out there...
She just picked up the can and started "watering."
I think she is giving me gardening tips here.
And more exploring...
That's my girl!
I have a feeling we're going to be doing alot of gardening together. I can't wait till the tomatoes and peppers come out and she can help me pick them.

Mother's Day Weekend in Bay City

This weekend Mommy and Daddy took me to Bay City to visit Nana and Papa for Mother's Day! We had a great time. On Saturday, Daddy took us to the Matagorda Harbor. We met some new friends....and not all were people...

I met a fish that Cameron caught.

And a real live little shrimp. (I wanted Daddy to cook him up for me to eat!)

Another fishy and a little girl fisherman!

Mommy and I watched Cameron fish.

And then we went down to Matagorda Bay for some fun in the water...

At first I wasn't so sure what to think about it.

I think I liked it when the waves came and hit my feet, but the sand was strange.

Mostly it was really fun!

Mommy held me a little to close to the water and my pants got all wet. It sure was fun!

Can you tell which are my feet and which are Mommy's?

(I'll give you a hint, Mommy won't let me paint my toenails yet.)

This is one of my favorite things to do...

boy, Daddy can throw me high! And I laugh so hard!

I found a shell.

It felt really neat.

And finally, Mother's Day came. Here are my 2 Grannies...

Happy Mother's Day Granny Hilda and Granny West!

Me and my Nana. She got this great swing for me and my cousins. I really had a good time swinging. Thanks Nana! Happy Mother's Day to you! We love you!

A Weekend With Friends...

Last weekend we were able to go to Clemson, South Carolina, to visit our dear friends - the Hunts. Doug lead us in our Collegiate Church Planting team in Boston, he performed our wedding along with Curtis, and Doug and Shelley did our pre-marital counseling. We love them dearly. They have greatly influenced how we do ministry.
And so we spent a weekend just catching up with them and seeing Clemson University, where Doug is the new campus minister.
We spent Saturday at a State Park. It was a gorgeous day. We had such a great time picnicing and exploring the park.

Audrey loved every minute! She had a turkey and cheese sandwich for the first time.

Of course Troy ended up in a tree. And Doug looks like he's about to shoot him down.

Audrey checked out the water guns.

Emily just loved playing with Audrey and Shelley was so much fun.
And little James showed us what a big Clemson fan he really is.

Daddy and Audrey at the Tigers baseball game.

Thanks Doug and Shelley! We had such a great weekend. We love you guys!
