Celebrating Audrey's Reading

Audrey has officially completed her 100 days of reading and we went to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate her accomplishment...

We are so proud of this girl.
She is an awesome reader!!!

Thanks for coming to celebrate with us Quinn and Jenna!  How fun!
We are so proud of you Audrey Rose!

Pop Up Time

This past weekend was our first official time out in the PUP.
And it was officially great!
Air conditioned camping in Texas. What more could you ask for?
And boy did that air conditioner work.
This is Daddy's new hammock.
We enjoyed having Cole join us.
And he survived a whole weekend of constantly playing with the girls.
Some hot hammock time.
Silliness.

The water was great. A must have for Texas camping in the Summer for sure.

Little Cutie.

Some good eatin...and a great chef...
Can't wait till next time...oh...that's this weekend. :)

First Ranger Game

Last night was the girls first trip to see the Texas Rangers at the Ballpark. (Thanks to a sweet friend for giving us tickets.) They did really well. It was so huge and loud, but they had a great time. It took Audrey awhile to stop covering her ears every time a sound went off (which is constantly.) They loved drinking soda and having ice cream in the helmet. Audrey had a good time clapping and Alaina loved dancing to the music.  Great Ranger memories...look forward to many more...maybe next time with their Bapa!

Pop Up Days are a Comin...

We are now the proud owners of a pop up camper...
YEA!!!
this is actually a table under Troy's feet.  Just put away right now.
King size bed on each end.  awesome.
3 burner stove to the right of Troy and potty/shower to the left.

again, this is the table under where audrey is jumping.  It just makes into this bed.
In the words of our family's new favorite song composed lovingly by Mama and Alaina:
"who wants to go camping?
laina laina!
who wants to go camping?
audrey audrey!
who wants to go camping?
mommy mommy!
who wants to go camping?
daddy daddy!
who wants to go camping?
nettie nettie!"
Loses some of it's effect without the singing, but you get the idea.  :)
But seriously, who wants to go camping?
We're ready.
