Ode to the Lucases

Our dearest friends, the Lucases, just left after a great weekend here in Texas. It was such a wonderful time with Becca, Travis and Evan.

Evan brought lots of great toys to play with. He shared them with Audrey. Becca read Audrey some great books...and Evan helped her.











These babies got lots of lovin.














We even got to watch the Red Sox in the playoffs! We had some cute little Sox fans!














We all piled in the car and took a road trip to San Antonio.
We stopped at New Braunfels on the way and took our friends to Pats. What a treat!











And then we headed out to check out San Antonio. The Lucases really liked seeing the Alamo.










And the river walk was pretty cool too. We had amazing mexican food at Casa Rio on the river.









And then we stumbled upon a special treat...


The next day we went to the market in San Antonio. It was really fun.





Audrey got a new sweater at the market.








Back in the car Evan taught Audrey some new tricks...









We ended our trip with the best BBQ any of us have EVER had...at the Salt Lick.

Station Wagon

You might know that one of my favorite singers is Sara Groves. I was looking at her website and found that she has a cd for parents.
